So on wednesday my little girl violet's school had a pet parade. One of the requirements, besides bringing a pet, was a hat decorated with animals. What better hat than a Luce Melon hat with puppy dog ears made out of vintage seventies calico with big daisies and tigers! She carved her own stamp in the likeness of a cat to replace the Luce goods logo on the back. I found the fabric at "The Legacy" which is a thrift store entirely dedicated to crafting! I can buy fabric there for two dollars a pound. Pure heaven...
